For businesses (Pro sellers)
When you need a Pro account, which details appear on the listing, obligations towards buyers, invoices and returns.
When do I need a Pro account?
When you sell as a business (a company, a sole trader), sell new products in series or buy in order to resell. Consumer law requires a trader to present themselves as such: buyers must know who they are dealing with and what rights they have. A person selling their own things, now and then, does not need Pro.
How do I switch to Pro and which details appear on the listing?
You fill in the business details: name, legal form, tax identification number, registered address and e-mail address. The Settings screen is being built; until it appears, send them to us from the Contact page, from the account's e-mail address, and we add them. They appear on each of your listing pages and on your profile, with the "Pro" label, as the law requires (DSA, traceability of traders). You can update them any time; they cannot be hidden while you are Pro.
What are my obligations as a Pro seller towards buyers?
- Right of withdrawal: the buyer can return within 14 days of delivery, without a reason, when buying at a distance.
- The legal warranty of conformity for goods, including used ones (the period can be shorter for second hand, as the law says).
- A correct and complete description: condition, flaws, what is included.
- An invoice or receipt for each sale, on request.
- Business details visible on the listing.

Do I pay anything extra as a Pro seller?
No. No subscription, no commission, no fee: while Seconda runs as a classifieds site, everything is free for everyone. The sale, the invoice and returns are handled directly between you and the buyer, under consumer law.
I sell several units of the same product. How?
One listing, one item; there is no stock on a listing. Make one listing for each unit, with its own photos and description (listings with exactly the same text are not published twice). You can have any number of active listings. The description has up to 3000 characters, photos up to 20.
Can I switch back from Pro to private person?
Yes, if you no longer sell as an activity: write to us from the Contact page, from the account's e-mail address (the Settings button is coming). The business details disappear from your listings. Orders already placed while you were Pro keep the rights buyers had then.
